PRESS RELEASE FOR HOME RACING

Available for immediate release:

Pushing into new gaming frontiers the “Home Simulator Company” is introducing its Ultimate Gaming Chair. Commercial simulators have been used for a long time but have been excluded from individual use in a person’s home. The Home Simulator Company aims to change all of that. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah and owned by the same people who have manufactured arcade games and other novelties for over 14 years, the Home Simulator Company is set to make history with the belief that the future has a simulator in store for every household. Being involved in gaming since the early 80’s, Jeff Ostler, partner and owner in HSC said, “It is time for the market place to grow and stretch again. We have millions of dollars being spent on first rate and incredible simulation software across all gaming platforms and yet the players are offered a joystick or a wheel stuck to a desk to perfect their skills! Today, people can buy a $40 piece of software with millions of dollars of development behind it and tune their skills for all types of racing. Yet, how can they really feel like they have gained any skills when it’s just a joystick and not a full cockpit that they have used for their gaming experience? We are offering the most practical and authentic solution to those who desire a greater gaming experience and who realize that today’s software is far ahead of the devices used to manipulate it. By having the ability to control the vibration, the sound, the force feedback and having proper equipment (like a real seat, wheel and pedals) anyone can learn how to fly or how to race their favorite race car and apply that knowledge for use in the real world by having one of our simulators.” Commercial simulators have long been out of reach because of the costs involved. A good simulator can go anywhere from $60,000 to $250,000. While not cheap, at under $4,000 (for the basic unit) the Home Simulator is still affordable for the home enthusiast. The system boasts a 1,000 watt plus 5.1.3 audio system. Home theatre enthusiasts have long known that a 5.1 audio system stands for 5 channels of audio and one channel for a subwoofer but with the Ultimate Gaming Chair it was necessary to add an additional 3 to the equation to give proper respect for the variable controls of vibration in the unit.

The goal of a simulator is to convince you that your experience is real. To accomplish this the Home Simulator Company (HSC) has worked out every detail to give the player the feel of being there. In the past it was thought that simulators needed motion to give the player the feeling of realism. In test after test HSC realized that motion cannot even simulate more than 1 gram of force and for the most part motion just throws the player around. Another factor in including some motion into their simulator was cost. Motion is the most expensive and least satisfying way of making a person feel like they are there. HSC developed a coordinated effort in providing realistic vibration, sound and graphics to give the player that being there realism. By giving the player control over how much vibration and different areas to control with the vibration the Home Simulator is capable of letting you feel the road in a car or the afterburners in a flight simulator. It doesn’t stop at just simulation software as any software and system can be used to a greater effect in the Ultimate Gaming Chair. It can be said with confidence that this is the greatest gaming chair ever made! One of the favorite things to do around HSC’s home offices is to curl up in the simulator and to listen to music. With such an incredible sound system and with the ability to feel music at a low volume level the simulator is the perfect thing for just relaxing. Yet, if you are more adventurous, you may want to hook up a Football game or a first person shooter and give your endorphins a real work out. There is nothing quite like being in the middle of battle using the chair. Since the system interprets the low level sound signals sent by any music soundtrack or sound effects the Home Simulator can be used with any gaming system: even the new systems that are not yet available will work with the Ultimate Gaming Chair. The sturdy platform table has been made to accommodate various wheels, joysticks, flight sticks and other devices. This makes it possible to let the kids play a Playstation™, XBOX™, or Nintendo™ game in the afternoon and let Dad and Mom hook up a realistic Nascar® or Formular 1 simulation in the evening. Getting online to race or battle one of your friends couldn’t be easier in today’s world and now the Home Simulator company aims to give you much more in your online experience. Go ahead and fly that combat jet into the ground, run that 2.1 million dollar Formula car into the wall --- you will never have to exchange insurance cards, go to the hospital, or fix your crashed vehicle, preserving your life and your nest egg. Where else can you get the thrill and experience of a road rally across France, taking the pole position in Nascar® and flying yourself to New York in the same afternoon and sleeping in you own bed that night? It’s just a matter of time if the Home Simulator Company is right – there is a simulator in your future.

WHY A HOME SIMULATOR?

During the past year I have been working on a project that is different from any item I have developed in the past because it is meant for peoples homes and not a commercial arcade piece. It wasn’t that long ago that I was test-driving a Saline (a fancy race car) to buy. It was fast: 0-60 MPH in 3.6 seconds. It was also expensive: $52,000.00 used, and it was also something my wife told me to make a decision on – I could have her or the car. She believed that once I bought the car my life would be in jeopardy. She was probably right – I don’t handle speed too well and I get much too absorbed in things that produce a huge adrenaline rush. Anyway, even though I didn’t buy the car I still wanted to own and have the experience of a racecar. Not being one to give up, I tried racing all the arcade race games. Since my company produces arcade equipment I get the opportunity to sit down and play any game I want at our distributors and at trade shows for the industry. In short, the arcade games, though cool, have never quite satisfied my racing crave. I thought about buying and bringing one or two of them home to race with my sons. I also raced on some simulators. I always preferred the simulators to the arcade sit down drivers. The biggest problem with arcade drivers is the same problem with simulators: you are stuck with one piece of software! No matter how good the software is it will be outdated in a year.

So, given the above I decided to build a simulator that was affordable, upgradeable, and had a multi-purpose capability. Now, as it turns out, I have another passion: high-end hifi and theatre systems, so much so, that I owned a high-end audio store for a few years. I currently have assembled a complete $100,000 plus reference audio and theatre system. Using my knowledge of sound and theatre I put together a cost efficient simulator that has turned out to be the world’s greatest entertainment chair. It incorporates a 1,000-watt plus 5.1 audio system with rear speakers integrated right into a Hunsaker racing seat and a 10” subwoofer that the seat sits beneath the chair. In front you have 3 speakers that together with the system play cleanly to 112 db. In addition you have full control over three vibration pods located in various locations in the unit and are controlled on the side of the chair, giving you full control over how much and how strong you want the vibration. The result is an exhilarating experience that anyone can enjoy. You now can enjoy music that sounds better than you have ever heard and felt before. Imagine hearing your favorite artist and feeling like you are at their concert. You can also hook up headphones to not annoy anyone else and still enjoy the benefits of feeling the deep bass. From Sting to Les Miserables the audio has never been better. You can also watch movies in full surround sound and not miss a beat when the explosions go off. Flight simulators have never been better and with the ability to use any controller you can hook up a flight simulator joystick and enjoy the feel of the afterburners when they kick in. Last but not least, by hooking up the latest force feedback wheel you can hook up any system with any software and race a pure arcade game or go for perfecting your lap times and racing skills in a state of the art racing simulator. Hook you system to the internet and enjoy any one of the various racing leagues that have been formed and you can do anything from racing in a cross country road rally race to driving a Formula 1 or Nascar® racing car. The best racing software, the best flight simulator software, the best movies and the best music is coming out in the future and you will be able to enjoy it like you never have before because the ultimate entertainment chair will never be outdated!

P.S. I will have two entertainment chairs set up at my house until mid June, if you have any interest please stop in and if you want to take advantage of our deal please order before the end of June as I have plans to market these through all the mass market channels available i.e. Sam’s and Costco are already taking these and once they do I will not be able to honor as good a price on a family and friends deal because of contractual obligations. Even if you know you won’t be ordering you are welcome to come and try out the ultimate entertainment chair.
